Bushcraft is the art of living in and with nature. It's about being able to cope with the outdoors using simple means — making fire, building shelters, finding and purifying water, cooking outside, and being self-sufficient. This also includes botany: knowing which plants are edible, which have healing powers, and how to better understand and respect nature.
And when it comes to equipment, everything has to fit in your backpack. Unlike camping, you don't drive to the site in a car, but carry only the bare essentials — minimalist and independent.
Many associate Bushcraft with adventure and wilderness, but at its core there is more: freedom and self-determination.
Those who practice Bushcraft learn to be independent—not reliant on modern infrastructure, but able to rely on their own abilities and nature.
